The 'never-quit' FLC women's basketball team came out on the short end of a 78-61 game at American River College on Friday night. After a close first quarter, the Falcons were within seven points several times during the second half but could pull no closer. Alma Perez - who has averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds over the last three games – led the team with 19 points while Faith Wilson added 17. The Falcons fall to 1-10 in Big 8 play with Cosumnes River (also 1-10) coming to Falcon Gym on Tuesday night.
