The Folsom Lake Falcons are headed to the State Championship Tournament after delivering a commanding 82–56 victory over San Francisco on March 7.
From the opening tip, Folsom Lake set the tone with high energy and aggressive play on both ends of the floor. The Falcons exploded for 25 points in the first quarter while holding San Francisco to just 11, establishing an early double-digit lead that they would never relinquish.
San Francisco attempted to chip away at the deficit in the second quarter, but the Falcons responded with their most dominant stretch of the game after halftime. Folsom Lake erupted for 31 points in the third quarter, using a balanced offensive attack and relentless defense to pull away and secure the win.
Leading the charge was Jada Tupou, who posted a powerful double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds, controlling the paint and providing a strong interior presence throughout the game.
