Coach Ali Mollet Leads Falcons to Historic Heights, Earns NorCal Coach of the Year Honors

The 2025–26 season will go down as one of the most remarkable in Folsom Lake College Women's Basketball history—and at the center of it all is Head Coach Ali Mollet.

In a year defined by dominance, resilience, and postseason excellence, Mollet guided the Falcons to an outstanding 28-3 overall record and a commanding 15-1 mark in Big 8 Conference play, solidifying Folsom Lake as one of the premier programs in California. Her leadership not only earned the Falcons a first-round bye in the 3C2A NorCal Playoffs, but also propelled the team deep into the postseason once again.

After the bye, the Falcons proved they were built for March.

Folsom Lake battled past Los Medanos College in a gritty playoff matchup before delivering another statement win against City College of San Francisco, punching their ticket to the Elite 8 for the third consecutive season—a testament to the program's sustained excellence under Mollet's leadership.

For her efforts, Mollet was rightfully named NorCal Coach of the Year, an honor that reflects not only the team's record, but the culture, consistency, and competitive edge she has instilled in the program.

This season also saw the Falcons tie for a #5 ranking in the state, further cementing their place among California's elite. But beyond the numbers, what truly sets this team apart is the unity and depth across the roster—something Mollet credits to her stellar coaching staff and the collective buy-in from her student-athletes.
