Falcons Stay Perfect with Dominant Wins Over Sacramento City and Modesto
The Folsom Lake College women's soccer team remains unbeaten after another stellar week of play, defeating Sacramento City 5–1 on the road and Modesto 6–0 at home to improve to 11-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in conference.
At Sacramento City on October 3, the Falcons came out strong with first-half goals from Kylie Deome, Maryn Rogers, Kiana Arbis, and Maisie McVeigh, before Kaytlynn Nice added a late strike to seal the 5–1 win. Rogers, Ivey, George, and Stroh each contributed assists, while goalkeepers Bitsy Wagner and Lola Ballard combined to hold the Panthers to a single goal.
Back at home on October 7, Folsom Lake delivered a dominant 6–0 shutout over Modesto. Mia Degrazio led with two goals, with George, Stroh, Nice, and Arbis also finding the net. Rogers tallied two assists, and the defensive trio of Wagner, Ballard, and Haley Yates shared the clean sheet — with Yates playing the final 25 minutes of the match to close out the shutout.
