Falcons Gain Valuable Experience at Ojai State Championships

The Falcons wrapped up their season at the prestigious State Championships in Ojai, held April 22–24, facing some of the toughest competition in California. While the results didn't fully reflect the team's effort and growth, the experience marked an important milestone in a season defined by resilience and development.

On the men's side, Spencer Hamilton represented the Falcons in singles play, while multiple doubles teams took the court, including Hamilton alongside Lucas Borman, Dan Han with Joaquin Battle, and the duo of Kai Scott and Drew Biggs. Each pairing battled through a highly competitive field, gaining valuable postseason experience against top-tier opponents.

For the women, Sophia Rael competed in singles and also teamed up with Sofia Dubinets in doubles. The pair found success on the big stage, earning a round victory and showcasing their chemistry and determination. The Falcons were also represented in doubles by Denise Millett and Brianna Gonzalez, who competed hard in a challenging bracket.

Although the tournament did not yield the results the Falcons had hoped for, the opportunity to compete at the state level underscored the progress made throughout the season. From individual growth to team cohesion, this year's campaign was filled with meaningful strides and promising performances.

With a foundation built on perseverance and a glimpse of what's possible at the highest level, the Falcons look ahead with optimism and motivation for the seasons to come.
